Man, what a weird day. It started off well... Jordan had a midmorning flight out, so we went to a movie to kill time. We wound up watching Identity. What can I say? Clea DuVall about sums it up... Great movie, actually. I totally recommend it. The day's weirdness actually started halfway through the movie. I'm still processing, so I probably shouldn't say too much yet. You know me... open mouth, insert foot.
I got Jordan to the airport on time, which may actually qualify as a miracle since the traffic was beyond insane. Anyway... there was more weirdness. Which was followed by strange happenings and general befuddlement. Gah. I was tricked into buying more stuff for Jordan, mainly because I was too busy trying to make my brain function again. Long story short... The concession people at Logan love me and I have no more money in my wallet. And I'm still not quite sure how it all happened. Or why. Where was I? Oh, right. Jordan, more weirdness, bit of a scene, plane, zoom, Jordan gone. My brain is still spinning.
Anyway. I went home and got into a conversation with my mother. About what, I have no idea due to the brain glitch, and I hope it wasn't anything that'll get me into trouble later. So I don't know what I said to get this little bit of inside information passed on to me, but...
It turns out a relative that I thought had died of old age or a stroke or whatever may have actually committed suicide. Yeah. Wow. There was never an autopsy or anything, but 1) my mother's a nurse, and 2) the relative in question did something before they died that seems a whole lot out of character - meaning, they may have been saying good-bye without actually saying it. I won't get into specifics here, because you never know who's reading. So... Wow, basically.
I am nowhere near being able to process anything that I've heard today. Jordan, Mom... Anyone else want to shock the hell out of me today? I'll be here, staring at the wall. Unless the wall's disappeared on me. The way my day's gone, I'd say it's a possibility. Ugh. Brain go smush. Wake me up next year.
