It sickens me.

How could anyone, at all, be opposed to same sex marriages. I mean, you may as well be opposed to love, life, freedom. How can two people who love each other, and want to stay together forever, possibly do anything but protect the sanctity of marriage.

Divorce destroys the sanctity of marriage far more than two people of the same sex, who obey the vows, and stay true to the spirit of marriage, ever could. Yet, people are against SSM, why? Because it's different. I heard something interesting on this topic.

In the mid 1900's, it was considered wrong for two people of different races to get married. Interracial marriages were frowned upon, because they hurt the sanctity of marriage.

In the early 1900's, people were against people of differing faiths,(Say, Catholic and Protestant) living in matrimony.

In hindsight, being against those 2 things was ignorant, and, someday, hopefully, we can look back on the opposition of SSMs in the same way.

In my opinion, to be against same sex marriages, is to be against humanity.
