today is a tumultuous chaos of minor annoyances. the gas station attendant, woman on her cell phone, disgruntled caller and customer service woman can all go to hell. by my word, i shall never again visit the gasoline service station on the corner of temple and broadway, nor shall i order another "as seen on tv" gadget via the internet, regardless of how appealing and simple it may seem.
in better news, next week i begin a new job in naples (naples is to long beach what venice beach is to los angeles, sans homeless performers or tourist shopping). goodbye to my one hour per day commute. also, this evening i have a meeting to discuss my new position as associate editor of a magazine that i have been freelancing for.
i feel i am on the brink of some major life improving transitions. it's about to get very interesting around here.
