so i actually did it (sick days lend themselves to blockbuster favorites) and watched 9 to 5! my conclusion? i think i am a jane fonda (shy tendencies) meets lily tomlin (practical, feminist minded) with a slight jealousy of dolly parton (oh! to be the sexy [but no nonsense] secretary! i could finally abandon my dreams of waitressing in a small town with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth, serving pie and bossing all the truckers around.).

this response is convoluted. more than anything, the movie made me wish i owned business lady tie-neck tops, pencil skirts and blazers... my work attire seems down right boring in comparison.
