Chapter 1
I've been working on my writing: I'm aiming to write a children's book for eight to eleven (?) year-olds that amuses the parents as well...and I posted the first chapter on the internet for some feedback. I figure that a nice way to keep me motivated would be to get a mailing list together and email a new chapter every month (or sooner, if I can write it quicker).
So far, 500 people have downloaded it, and 7 have emailed comments. I call this my "1% rule": whatever the content, only around 1% of web users will give feedback by email or guestbook entry.
Anyway, if anyone reads this, you can get the first chapter here. It's in PDF format, so you need the free Adobe Acrobat reader to read it, and the file is zipped to save on download time.
