Sequesterment.

I've been enjoying the disconnect from the online world for the past number of months.

When I first got back to portland I didn't have internet. Which at first was pretty odd. It was like not having a car or a cell phone. It was a certain level of sequesterment. After a little bit I enjoyed it. It is nice to be at home and not feel the pull to sit at the computer and chat online. It sounds weird but it felt a bit zen.

It's like there is only just you, away from everything, to yourself. It's kind of neat. It gives you time to think about what you are and what you've been doing.

Perhaps it's just because I'm adjusting to being back but I've been more introspective than normal and it's been rather productive.
