Life progresses
So...I moved. I was in room 119 and now I'm in room 114...which, might I add, is way huger. Only problem is that it's right on the street so I have to deal with the vibrations of traffic and other mysterious noises in the night. The first Pro/Cons. Then, Pro:More light and more windows. Con: lost my awesome view of the "courtyard" where I could see everything that was happening. Pro: without said view, I can concentrate more easily on my work. Con: without said view I can't keep an eye out for funny business or strangers lurking about. Pro: closer to the motel across the street so far more consistent wireless service. Con: craptastic TV that wouldn't let me plug in my PS2(that is just completely unacceptable. I'm replaying KH2, yo...)
Suffice it to say, there are definite pros and cons to this move, but overall...I think it's a good thing. There is still a chance that I will be moved to a totally different building all together and I will admit that I will be endlessly angry if that happens, but...that's the life of housing staff here I guess...this school, by the way, is insane. The more I learn about it, the more I want to finish my degree as quickly as possible...yipes.
speaking of school, I bout my text books today, and let me just say, OMG!!!!!! XDDDDD I feel super geeky saying this, but I am SEVERELY excited for classes to begin. *GLEEE!*
