DUDE! Today I invited a CIR to my school. They're basically other JETs who speak Japanese and go around teaching about their country. The guy I invited is from Australia, and OMG...now I REALLY wanna go! Now I have a reason other than stalking Lauren! XD There's just all this really cool stuff I didn't even know about the place, like how

...wait...are you on dA? ?__?
Anyway, my discover came through a tutorial on deviantART that basically showed how this one guy does his stuff by drawing directly into the computer. That's sort of a "no duh" thing in some ways, but I dunno...somehow, this time around something clicked and I've been doing pretty well with it so far...that meaning I've got 2 sketches done and and now contemplating how to color them... The tutorial is here. Honestly, it's only the first step that I've been paying attention to. The idea of just getting a really raw and fresh thing done. Of course...my versions somehow turn out not that raw...

& LOL yes I'm on dA *hides* but given that I haven't actually touched it in ages and so all the stuff there is old and sucks major, I'm embarassed to even link anyone to it. Since you're special, you're allowed to know:

As for comp sketching...I just need to start doing it more, and for more than just these really insane pieces I'm planning. I also watched the ep of Digimon when Tai got back home and we first met Hikari. I'm pretty convinced that that was the episode that settled him in my heart forever. Nothing gets me like a caring big brother. It also inspired me for some fanart ideas, but for some reason, I really just fail at drawing him. And Yamato. I don't know why...

and you are too kind~ haha, those big-heads were from the days a few friends and I used to doodle on java oekaki applet and I hadn't yet discovered the wonders of open canvas or CS2.

That was easily one of my favourite episodes of all time from anything ever. Tai owns my soul but his hair kills me (well I love it but drawing it is a pain) & for Yama, I always feel I'll never do justice to his beauty or something. Still, I've started some sketches that will hopefully get somewhere *fingers crossed* but I'm hopeful because I got CS2 for the first time last night and kind of exploded with glee since it got along with my tablet SO WELL =D
lol ok so most of that was probably unnecessary rant but I have missed art-talk, so yep =)
