The McGrunt is here!!
Our little one is here!! 3 weeks early, but technically considered full-term. My water broke Thursday night immediately after I sent the final emails about the damn research assistantship off to my supervisors -- on my last day of my working for them. Crazy. But labor didn't start on its own, so I didn't get my natural birth center birth, unfortunately -- had to go to the hospital to be induced, and even then my body wouldn't get into active labor until I finally gave in and took the epidural. Julia Siobhan entered the world!!
5 pounds, 14 ounces, 18 inches.

We should be uploading more pics as time goes on... and we have more, but we've been busy adjusting to our new life, and also coping with the jaundice that Julia developed over the last few days -- had to spend 24 hours at the hospital Thursday to Friday nights so she could get some light therapy. But she's thankfully doing a lot better now and we can enjoy being at home and losing sleep rather than at the hospital losing sleep!
