Phenomenography

Dec 06, 2006 17:20

Can't remember if I've mentioned this before.

Reading a lot about phenomenography at work. I submitted an abstract today for a paper which tries to bring together 2 conceptual frameworks for researching education: activity theory, and phenomenography. Activity theory basically means a lot of Finns. Phenomenowotsit, already hard to say (gets harder when it turns into "phenomenographic") is a wild and woolly descriptive research method. Both are fun to think with.

Have constant urge to sing "Phenomenah!" to the tune of "Mah Na Ma Nah".
