Les miserables
So yeah. Stayed up until 3 AM to finish my Russian Lit paper. Not too bad. EXCEPT THAT I DIDN'T GET TO SLEEP. AT ALL. I finally stopped trying to force myself into a state of unconsciousness around 7:30 AM, at which point I printed out my paper and realized it was COMPLETE SHITE. So I spent the next two hours completely revamping it, hopefully into something resembling a paper.
That's when facilities management, in their infinite wisdom, decided to TEST THE FIRE ALARMS. From 9:30 until 10:30 the fire alarm was going off, at different speeds and intervals, about every 3 minutes. Add to this the fact that I ALREADY had a POUNDING sinus headache and was operating on zero sleep... yeah, it was not a pretty picture.
AND... eating early in the morning made me feel ill.
My hands were literally shaking during class, I couldn't hold my pen still. It was very sad, but I finally made it back to food, comfortable clothes and, most importantly, my bear.
Life is hard! But I'm so relieved to be done with all that that I'm actually pretty happy right now. The prospect of a nap in the near future helps, too. And I love my pajamas.
