This is good stuff, you should read it

I think there are two types of people. People who make plans, and people who envy those who make plans. I'm afraid I'm in the first category :(. Ever since my ONE BIG ATTEMPT to go to Europe fell through (I was going to go to France with the French Honor Society, but then we declared war on Iraq and our teacher used that as an excuse not to take us, damn her), I've been very loath to get my hopes again. Plus planning trips seems like such a task, especially because I always want things to go *perfectly*. I want to become a planning person. I want to go places and not be terrified of things going wrong. I'm not sure how I'm going to become a planning type, but I guess planning something would be the first step. Hm.

I have been thinking of all the 'home-y' things I want to do before I leave for Williamsburg, but there always seems to be a reason why they can't be done in the amount of time I have left. Like I want to watch Moulin Rouge while baking like I always do when there is no one else in the house--but there is always *someone* in the house. So that's not going to work exactly. I want to bake cupcakes for my co-workers at Regal but I have a very short space of time before I am officially 'at college' (so I lied a little about when I was going back so I could quit earlier. Sue me). And I need to find out when Joanna and Cecily will be working so I can make sure they get the cupcakes and not the annoying people.

It's surreal thinking that I will be *moving* somewhere in about a week and living in an entirely new space. I must admit I am getting a bit depressed about not living in Monroe 208 any more. Or Monroe 210, which I also lived in for a time, despite it being someone else's room. Our room in Dillard (where I'm living now) is HUGENORMOUS, but its SO far away from campus! Much farther away from Tucker (aka Mecca) than Monroe was. Poo. I guess that just means I'll be driving and taking the bus instead of walking, but that's no fun.

I am VERY disappointed that only one person commented on my Arwen icon. WTF people, I was trying to get a reaction from you! I mean I guess I do crazy shit like that so often you kind of get numb to it, but still. Me needs attention.

I found the livejournal for this girl who was in my Victorian Mysteries class and Mythology class first semester last year. She was pretty cool, but I was going through my awkward phase at the time (when am I not?) and I never really talked to her except when we walked between the two classes, and I only sat with her once. But she seems awesome! Based on her livejournal alone, I'm sure we could be friends. But how to accomplish this? I'm afraid it's not to be. I'm convinced within myself that people have more than enough friends to be looking for more. Which may or may not be true.

Yeah, I actually like this entry. Go me for writing things that are at least semi-interesting/important!

OH and a question: Do you have an opinion on the debate between underscores and no underscores? Like do you prefer user_name or username, cool_chick or coolchick? I'm trying to come up with a name for my writing journal and nothing is working out :P.

Psst! Vote at period_stills!
