What a particular day this was. A weird Christmas in a way. The morning started off perfectly normal with me waking up to a swollen throat and stumbling into the livingroom like the living dead. My mother was already awake watching TV, and my brother was woke up soon after I did.
We sat around and opened presents. Got some DVDs, two shirts, cologne, an x-box game, and some socks. My brother got just about the same thing, if not similar. For my mother--since I'd already gotten her the computer game she wanted for christmas--I got her a chanaka (sp?) bear.
After the presents we went over to my grandfather's place. We sat around and shared some more gifts. I messed with my uncle's web cam. It was pretty neat, and had me entertained for half the duration of our stay. I took some pictures to send to myself, but evidently they're not quite the right file for my machine, so I can't seem to open them or anything. I was really sad when I came home to find out I couldn't open up my pics.
We then proceeded to my uncle's. There we sat and caught up on life. Talked about other relatives on my Dad's side. My grandmother got married to some rich guy in Colorado apparently.
Eventually we made our way to my mom's coworker's place, and then to home. There I took off with my friend to find something to do for the day. Mostly the day consisted of driving around trying to find some place to go. Then we went to see Darkness, which I thought was rather good.
Darkness was about a family who moved to a house in Spain. The house is actually haunted by the spirits of six dead children and three wicked old looking ladies. I don't want to say much more, because the whole thing about the movie is the story as it unfolds.
Many people were upset with the ending. I liked it.
