I've began working at the mall. Started yesterday. The pay's good, and it's really simple shtuff. Way too simple shtuff: I simply have to record amounts for giftcards that people wish to buy on sleeves (that way the people at the registers don't have to do it), answer questions, give directions, lend wheelchairs to the needy, and stomp on the greedy.
All this for 7.40 per hour. I mean, sure it's no 13 per hour, but it's a jump up from my last job. A large one.
Oh, I've also started my exams. Went to UWF today and was there for perhaps only 10 mins before I was leaving again. Needless to say, I was the first person done with my exam. Everyone was in awe, I think.
Anywho, went to the mall to do some spending, but my step-mother hadn't transfered money to my account. I'll probably do a lot of shopping tomorrow. There's a classic R&B CD I have my eyes set on.
As for the rest of the day, work is fast paced at times. Usually if I'm not helping customers, I'm helping the people behind the counters. Once in a while I have to run to two different storage areas depending on what it is I need. Earlier I had to run to this one storage area and practically find it myself. Let's just say it was a lot of testing the key in different locks.
I think I may earn a permanent job there. Maybe.
If I do I won't be able to go to Washington D.C. period. I was supposed to go this Christmas break, but with this sudden temp job I can't. If I get a permanent job I probably won't be able to at all.
Gah.
Um, other than that my mother has me looking up living expenses and etc. of Great Britain. So far I've managed to pull a price index of appartments/flats and homes in London. I can't seem to find any exact info on immigrating there without any other reason than simply to do so.
Yeah, so that's the day(s) of my life.
