Maybe...maybe....
Today was pretty long. Woke up and sat around the house for a little bit. Talked to a friend online and then went to the mall to meet up with them. We walked around for a little while and talked.
I met this really pretty chick that seemed pretty down to earth. Hell, she wants to go to Portland, Oregon because of the nature. What was a bonus was she liked the likes of the Libertines! First person I've met down here who knows about 'em.
Anyway, she told me about a show that was happening next door to my own apartment complex. Went there despite it being a church. The bands were pretty good, but I decided I had enough sorry bastard music (a la "emo") and went to go see Ocean's Twelve. I thought it was rather hilarious.
Ocean's Twelve reminded me of two movies. One being a Steve Martin movie. Forget the name, but it's about two con men who try to con a girl into falling for them. Think it was Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or something like that. The other being the original Italian Job, because it they were pulling off the heist in Rome, but that's as similar as it gets to that really, heh.
After that I pretty much came home and stayed.
I was supposed to meet that chick at the show, but she never arrived when I was there. Oh well. Maybe I'll meet her again sometime.
