New colors. :) At least on this page. LJ started acting up so I gave up on the other pages for today. I suppose this page is the more important page, but the other pages will be changed shortly :)
If anyone's wondering why I haven't written anything in 3 weeks then it's because...well, there's no real reason really. I haven't had anything to write about. Nearly every day I've said, 'TODAY I'm gonna write!' So I sit and stare at the screen for a while, until I realize that I don't really have anything to write about. Nothing is going on, every week is the same. I'm off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday(if I don't fill in for some teacher at school, which happens sometimes). On Thursday and Friday I have the Graphical Communication course in the mornings. On Thursdays I go there, sit at a computer for 3 hours, and then I go home. On Fridays, I do the same, but I don't go home, I meet my best friend instead, and I don't go home until late night. And on weekends I'm at home, or I'm doing something else not very interesting ;) That's basically my weeks at the moment.
I cannot wait until I start the university this fall, if I'll get in that is. I have applied to quite a lot so I'm bound to get into SOMETHING at least. hopefully. *crosses fingers* I just can't wait to meet new people, to buy books, to study(I must be sick), to actually have something to do during the days.
I'm really really hoping to get into Multimedia. I've heard that there are not very many applications for programs like that so there's a big chance that I'll get to study that. A friend of mine, no 2 friends of mine got into Multimedia last year and they think it's a lot of fun.
Another thing I'm looking forward to at the uni is something called 'Nollning'. The seniors(I think) give the freshmen assignments, if I can call it that. It all takes place in the first week or so. The assignments can be everything from building a boat and then to participate in a boat race with other freshmen. Lately at some universities the assignments have been pretty humiliating though. Some have been told to drink alcohol until they're completely wasted. I don't think things like that happens in Karlstad though. A friend of mine got to carry a piece of wood, with a few other freshmen, into a mall, and walk around with it. Which frankly, is pretty strange. Some of the freshmen are even afraid to participate, I might be a bit nervous but I don't care. I'm going anyway, since I know it'll be something that I'll always remember.
This week I'm filling in for a teacher at school. It's only 3 hours a day so it's not all that bad, I earn around $9 / hour so it's very well paid for someone who's not even educated. I need it since I haven't been able to find a job for this summer. This Friday I'm getting around $230 and I'm going to try to sell my prom dress(which I never used, because I was sick), which will hopefully give a bit of money. And then I'm filling in for mom next week so in June I'll be getting around $120 too. So I think I'll make it through the summer. I'll just have to keep myself from buying too much stuff ;)
I think that I'm gonna get new wallpaper for my room, might not be until after the summer though. I want a new floor too. My room is so boring. White wallpaper with some barely noticeable stripes on it. I think it looks horrible. And the floor is around 25 years old so the room needs to be a bit freshened up. Dad would have to help me though since I don't know a shit about putting up new wallpaper. I wonder what color I want on my walls...
