3. Vacation was great. I am covered in water-activity-related bruises, I bonded with children, I played enough ladder golf for my arm to fall off. And Thursday was a "perfect day."
4. There is a concept that keeps cropping up in my research regarding perfect self and perfect days. So, I'm going to mark them down. Thursday was one. I think all my perfect days will require s'mores.
5. There's a new show on TV called "Raising the Bar" that has Mark Paul Gosselaar looking like this:

6. Am I the only one who gets super duper excited at the premiere of TV shows that overload my DVR and force my wife and me to not speak to each other for about a month? Well, I am.
7. My sister-in-law is exhausting in that "hey, be careful with how close you get to the mean-spirited cliff's edge before they revoke your human membership" way. And I got to see her twice in three days. Not Thursday. Thursday was perfect.
8. A good ol' fashioned water fight is the quickest way to cleanse your soul.
9. I finished reading Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay which was excellent and made me want to read comic books. I am now reading surviving madness which is the autobiography of Betty Berzon who was a revolutionary gay therapist. I am also reading The Domestic Violence Sourcebook for a speech I have to give on the difference between advocacy and therapy to a bunch of eager-beaver-college feminists who are volunteering at the Women's Resource Center. After this, I'm reading Night Watch which I think takes place in 1940s London with many gay themes. Therefore, I wish I had a time machine and I'm feeling super dykey. Must be an election year.
10. TTS for today: Be afraid of your clothes dryer. Carrie told me to use safety precautions when I performed Laundry Bitch duties today. Asshat.

12. It was like 92 degrees this afternoon with 800% humidity. It is now 55 and fall-like. Sleeping with the windows open makes me do happy dance.
13. This reminds me that I taught an 8-year-old how to do my stupid happy dance for a good ladder golf throw. My corruption of youth is in process, ladies and gentlemans.
14. I saw jayli with a MinnesOta hat on in a picture. Made me smile with a lot of giddy. We also renewed our basketball tickets last week. The addiction continues.
15. I have tomorrow off because I work this weekend (but will definitely be around for yackoff) so for those of you scoring at home that's 11 days off, one-half day at $$Job, one-half day at RealJob, and then another day off. Thank Oz. I need a break. :-)
