"Find the tree."
That is all I heard. I remember the time it happened clearly. It all took place between 11:30 and 1am. When these things occur you can't afford to forget anything.
I turned to the opening. I still couldn't fathom these woods. I looked at all my surroundings and couldn't seem to get my bearings; I was too distracted.
"The knocks! The knocks come! Twice the knocks sound. Wherefore, and from whence do they come? Follow the path and into the long grass free; Where you will find the tree with your name carved upon it."
It came as a clear whispering through the air. I had never experienced this in my life before, and there was no reason why I should ignore it. It felt like it was some kind of old poem. something I'd had to study in school perhaps. The point was: It spoke to me.
"Find the tree with your name carved upon it."
What could this mean? I didn't understand it at all.
