Christmas is over.
I have a wallet filled with gift cards, a set of mixing bowls, an awesome camera, and the feeling that all I really wanted isn't even in the same state.
At least I know where my family is, and they're all in good health, and adjusting well,a nd all that jazz. I lvoe visiting, and I feel like a brat complaining... but I miss them. Glad that they're all doing so well though. Think we're going down to visit over Lizbet's birthday (my little sis is turning 16... uh-oh!)
Hope everyone had a great Christmas; we had Cara and Chris (her fiancé!) stay with us for a few days, took a trip to O'Lourdan's chilled around the house, played some nintendo, lots of relatives... *LOTS* of foooooood (gotta love the Christmas gumbo).
today, writing thank-yous, cleaning house, going to mall to exhchange things for the right sizes.... we'll see.
