I'm feeling better...
My grandfather is much more alert and interacting with people much the way he did before his surgery. He's heading back to the rehab center today to resume his therapy. I hope this was his last trip to the hospital for a while... 3 times in 1 month is crazy! Jason has a 2-day inteview next week on Wed & Thurs in Muncie, IN. Since we were already planning on making the drive to KY for "Christmas Potluck" with friends this weekend, we decided to just stick around and drive up to Muncie from there instead of driving all the way back to Atlanta. We're still waiting to hear from the Louisville job... they're moving very slllooooowwwwly. It's nice to have 2 very good possiblities though!
I've been getting excited about Christmas this year... I'll be driving to NC with my Dad, sisters, bro, and Jason to visit my grandparents and the rest of the family. I'm hoping I won't have to work Christmas Eve... I need to visit my grandparents in Etown, Jason's family, and would like to make it to the Mongilutz's dinner if possible. It'll be a rat race until we finally get to NC and get a chance to hang out with family for a few days. I can't wait! By the way, Gma, if you're reading this, Jason and I have a blow-up mattress, so you can put us anywhere for the 1st night when we're short on rooms.
Now I'm getting ready to watch "How I Met Your Mother" with Jason... yay!
