Character Name: Mizuki Hajime
Age: 26 (17 if you ask him)
Race: Human

Appearance & personality: Mizuki's appearance is rather similar to his canon. He has dark grey eyes and black curly hair. Despite being (probably) human, he hasn't really changed much since his late teens, and has something of an obsession of appearing young.
Mizuki is, rather simply, a survivor. A rather narcissistic and vain survivor, but a survivor nevertheless. While he can appear quite amiable when need be, he can also be totally ruthless where necessary. Somewhat too smart for his own good, he is manipulative and calculating, and though it's rare that he shows his anger outwardly, he can carry a grudge. On the other hand, if someone makes it through his shields, he is extremely loyal to the point of obsession, and can be genuinely nice and caring towards the few he declares worthy of his attention. This is an extremely rare occasion, though; perhaps due to his background, perhaps due to his own quirky nature, Mizuki trusts very few people. Those that he does, he considers "his", and will go just as far for them as he would for his own gain. Which, in Mizuki's case, is quite far indeed.
When annoyed, Mizuki can be rather verbally abusive, even resulting to slaps and such as he deems necessary. However, when it comes to actual fighting he's pretty much of the rat in the corner type. He'll claw at you, spit at you - and the moment you blink, you'll have a knife in your stomach, because Mizuki has to survive.
History: Not much is known about Mizuki's background, not even by Mizuki himself. He was approximately three years old when he was found by - or, rather, he found - Akazawa, immediately latching onto the man. What a mere toddler was doing all alone in such a dangerous location is anyone's guess, though the traces of a travelling party being attacked nearby might give some clue to this. Mizuki doesn't remember anything from his early childhood. He's spent practically all his known life with Akazawa, growing up while the other has stayed the same; this might be the reason for Mizuki's obsession with looking young.
Even though Akazawa raised him, Mizuki can be quite bossy towards his companion, thinking it perfectly within his rights to order the elf around. He seems convinced Akazawa couldn't survive without him and tends to throw jealous fits when he's reminded that Akazawa had plenty of life before Mizuki appeared in the picture.
