So, I had a discussion with Evan about the whole situation that happened friday.
He understood why it bothered me, and apologized for it. I told him that I didn't have anything to worry about, but for the sake of appearance, he wouldn't do something like that again.
Its nice to have a boyfriend that actually admits that they were wrong and apologizes for it... Let's just hopes he keeps with that.

Today I stayed home from work because I'm feeling hell ran over me twice. But now, I'm kinda kicking myself in the head because I really could have used the hours. But, oh darn, I also have to miss out on all the fun printing. *Tear*
We usually have a schedule for all the signs that we need to print out on a week by week basis. But, every now and then my boss comes and says "I need 700 of this sign by the end of the week", which completely throws off our schedule. So, when my boss came up to us on monday and told me he needed 500 coroplast signs by this wednesday, I wanted to cause physical harm to someone.

Ok, here's a little side note about my job, so hopefully my frustration can be understood:

We print on yellow metal signs. You know, the ones that you see that say corny things like "German Shepard crossing" or "Dolphin crossing", etc. Only, while the majority of the yellow signs that you see (for example, the yellow diamond shaped road signs) only have one color-black. Our signs, however, are detailed. Different colors to make a more realistic image as opposed to a black shadow.
(You probably don't care about all of this, but I digress...)
The shitty part about printing a realistic sign with a variety of colors is that you can only print on color at a time. So, if I have a sign that have four colors, and needs to be printed 100 times. I print one color a hundred times, bring it down, print the next color a hundred times, bring it down, etc., etc. So, when we print a run of 700 signs with 6 colors, its like printing 4200 signs. In short, its a pain in the ass.
Now, coroplast is like a white cardboard material. Its not metal, so its a even bigger pain to print. So, when Paul (my boss), tell us he needs 500 coroplast signs-4 colors-FRONT AND BACK... Needless to say, I wasn't all that thrilled.

Ok. That's enough about my boring job.

On a brighter note, I'm going to see 10 years and The Almost this weekend in St. Petersburg. I'm going with a few people from work, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm trying to embrace all these little vacations while I can, because reality is going to hit pretty hard pretty soon.
Me and Evan have yet to find a place to live in jacksonville. Evan's parents have offered to let us move in with them until we get everything set up here, but I don't think that's something that Evan wants. Ah, well...time will tell.
