About Iconicity
A blood-stained pink suit; a hockey victory; a graffiti-covered wall
crumbling; twin-towers in flames - every one of these images has a
story to tell. Seeing them, we have our own stories to tell. An
original ensemble piece, Iconicity uses language and gesture to
explore our fascination with iconic images.
Conceived and directed by Ryan Christie (2008 Helen Hayes award
winner for Best Direction Reefer Madness) and Jennifer Crooks
(Creator/director of Love & War: with the Bard's Women `07
Capfringe). Both Ms. Christie and Ms. Crooks are graduates of the
Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory.
