Thank you
aeonata and
2sick2pray for coming to the show last night. Always good to have friendly, supportive faces in the crowd.
Looks like the weather reports were wrong (as usual) and the freezing rain isn't starting till late on Saturday. Turkeymas will be rolling by then though parties starting after 6PM may see a low turnout (why does everyone and their mom decide to have a party the 3rd weekend in December -- I've been invited to 5 happening this night) This probably means our shows Saturday will be on -- the one that is in jeopardy now looks to be the Sunday matinee. All told, I'd rather do the Saturday shows than Sunday so if something HAS to go down ...
I'm glad to close the show this weekend -- I'm very proud of it and love doing it (gives me a chance to put all those movement classes to the test) but I'll be happy to concentrate on my family and the approaching Christmas and New Year's weekends. Followed shortly after by Birthday weekend and Same Age Day (yes, this is a "holiday" that Roddy and I made up -- it's January 13th, figure it out.)
I've got some auditions lined up next week and in January. I've got to finish class at Studio and I've been asked to Ass't Direct at Silver Spring Stage. The New Year looks to be brimming with theatrical possibilities so I'm gonna take this respite while I can get it.
