so guess what? i'm not dead.
so the last post i made was on September 9th which was completely unintentional. i went away for the weekend and fully intended to post when i got back and never got around to it. turns out September was just the beginning of probably the most stressful last few months of my ife.
so since then this is whats happened:
+ went to my sister's wedding which was absolutely gorgeous and perfect
+ i started my new job at my sister's company while she was on her honeymoon and that went well. i started working 10 hours a week doing typical temp work (filing, copying, etc.) which was annoying. but i just recently got "promoted" to a job where i actually get to write up descriptive analyses on medical cases the company defends which sounds boring but is actually kinda cool. and now i'm working 36 hours a week and i really like it. it makes me feel professional :)
+i went through the most hellish semester of school ever. i started out with 5 classes which were all really really difficult. so i ended up dropping one half way through the semester. i wrote 43 papers by the time it was all over. i took a really difficult course for my major which was a lot of work but i ended up getting an A which was great, but probably the most difficult class i had was one i was only taking for credit hours. figures. but after all the stress and all the screaming i had to do as i fought my way through each of those papers, i actually made it through the semester. and i did well. i ended up with an A, two A-'s and a B+. not my best semester but i'm just happy i made it through without doing worse than a B+.
so now i'm really enjoying my christmas break. a lot. i've just been reading and watching DVDs and hanging out and working and i'm loving all of it. at the end of January i start my last semester of college. i can't belive it's already here. it's going to be another difficult one though i'm sure. i'm taking 6 classes (one on a saturday) just so i can hurry up and graduate. and then i have to figure out what i want to do with my life and then i have to find a job. i'm looking at graduate schools though. i doubt i'll actually go but i'm just looking for now.
and i've decided to finally plan my trip to Europe. i've been saving and making a lot of money lately so i'm finally going to plan the trip as a graduation present to myself. i just need someone to go with.
so now that i'm free from classes again i'm going to try and start posting again.
so Happy New Year! my resolution this year: to do things i wouldn't normally do. i think i'll make 2006 a great year by broadening my horizons, if you will. i'm definitely looking forward to what the year has in store for me. thats for sure.
