(no subject)
The flight took off after 10:30. We made great time in the air - 1.5 hours - but then had to circle Philly because Newark was STILL backed up. The whole reason we were delayed was due to air traffic control in Newark - the plain was at the gate and ready to go before 6:00 pm.
We were on the plane by 9:50, but were delayed when another passenger experienced a medical emergency for which they asked over the pa system "If there is anyone with medical training on board..." By the time the doc got half way down the isle, she was better, but we had lost our take-off spot. I saw the flight attendant pull out a whopper or a first aid kit during the light, and the woman across the isle kept ringing her call button for more water after the captain had asked the attendants to stop service as it was to dangerous for them to not be seated. She was coming off of drinking way too much at the airport, and was completely dehydrated.
I think we got back to DMM's place after 1:00am. All in all, it took me 8.5 hours to get here. But, I am here now, and I am about to leave for a spa pedi and mani. Yay!
