This is why people have abandoned you.
I sometimes write and don't feel like finishing. That happened last night because I realized I needed to print my tax return so I could mail it today. No, the government does not get my money any earlier than they need to.
So I answer "yes" to the restore draft question when I selected "post to journal" and what happens? It autosaved a blank page because I guess the connection went a bit wonky.
I was bemoaning the objectification of actors/actresses in fandoms. I see it constantly on Tumblr, so much so that it's beginning to get on my nerves. While I'm happy to look at nice pictures and gifs of my favorite actors or actresses, there is no need to tell the world how much you want to have various forms of sex with them. This happens on Facebook as well. Even with nice close-up shots, it's all about "the sex." You don't even see past their neckline and still sex is involved.
It's funny how women are just as bad at objectifying as men. While we would be aghast if a man said certain sexual things about a woman or ourselves, women apparently have no problem saying practically the same things about people, particularly men, they find attractive.
I don't like objectification when a man objectifies a woman, so why should I accept it or chime along when a woman does it to a man?
Can't we simply like someone who's good at their job and entertains us well? Why do we need to express sexual attraction to them also?
