I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo procrastinating right now. I really should be writing this paper. I have a fucking paragraph. I need 3000 words by 4:30 tomorrow. I am freaking out, man. Not really. But it's a little scary.
The only reason that it took me so long to get to it was that i have another paper due before it tomorrow, so I did that one first. And it took a good amount of time. Ugh. Enough of papers.
....but because of my papers, I have been spending a lot of time in the library. Like.....a lot. Because my computer died on me. So unfortunately, when funny shit happens....I'm stuck laughing my ass off with people around me wondering what the hell my problem is. And I know. Yesterday there was a girl across from me that kept laughing at her computer and I thought it was really annoying. I'm a hypocrite. But that's okay.
First laughing situation:
(Backstory first) Our cat has pulled over our Christmas tree...three times? four times? now. So I looked up online how to keep him away from it. First suggestion: put dryer sheets around the tree. Second suggestion: put lemon/orange peels around it. So I did both. And then left the apartment, without explaining to Darcy or Rachel what why I did what I did. I get this conversation while I'm at the library (via online messenger)
Me: Are you confused about the Christmas tree?
Rachel: Yes. Wtf? Why are there orange peels and dryer sheets?
Me: *explains*....after I try not to laugh hysterically.
For some reason this was infinitely funny to me. I just could picture the look on their faces when they got home.
Second laughing situation, you just had to be there, I guess. Because it involved Paul sending me some really funny stories from the forum that he reads about stupid shit people have done at work and not been fired for it. They were amazing. Something Awful can still go to Hell.
I really need to get back to work. Once tomorrow night comes, I'll be stoked. Because then I get to see Paulie again. These past couple of days have been torture :-\
