My new job....
Is too awesome.
On my nightshift rotation I'm on standby, so I'm allowed to sleep, in a bed...
My accommodation is a very nice serviced apartment on the edge of harbour, across the road you're on the beach... I have Austar, air con, a double bed, walk in robe, ensuite....
I'm getting a $113 a day, tax free food allowance on top of my normal pay. I could eat out every meal, every day and still come out ahead....
They've just lined up my first training gig, two days, in Brisbane, during my two weeks off, at the same rate I'm getting from the training company in Toowoomba, but with an expanded scope of what I can train...
The other paramedics and I are mucking around with procedures like cannulation etc on the island with the blessing of the bosses.
I'm loving this job.
