Post-Valiant tag

Hi there,

I'm searching for a fic that I read a while ago, in Merlin's POV, set just after 1x02 Valiant. In in Arthur leaves the celebration early and Merlin follows. Arthur is covered in bruises from the fight and exhausted. Merlin realises just how much pressure Arthur is under to be the best all the time and that Arthur had to go out and fight Valiant even when he thought he would die, because no one would follow a prince who was thought to be a coward. And then when he did win, no one really paid much notice, because that's just expected.

Merlin helps Arthur to get ready for bed and rubs lotion on his bruises to soothe his muscles. Arthur trusts Merlin more after and Merlin appreciates that being prince isn't all roses.

I've been hunting for this fic for days but I can't seem to find it. I'd be so appreciative if someone out there recognises it and can point me in the right direction.
