Whumpings?

I recently finished catching up on Merlin and have been browsing a handful of fanfic sites and blogs for the past week, but I haven't had much luck finding what I'm looking for. Does anyone know of any thought-out, well-written fics that involve someone having it in for Merlin and Arthur having to come to his rescue? Basically getting the violence and protective/affectionate!Arthur that the show has denied me? whump whump whump! Bromance is preferable, but I do love a good slash fic too :)
Or does anyone know of any other resources I could try looking through?
