And I fell for a promise of a life with a purpose but I know that's impossible now.
So today has been alright. I woke up at 10 and went on a bike ride for an hour which was nice but a wee bit tiring. I've been riding my bike everyday for the past couple days to get some exercise 'cause I think I need it. I'm gonna try to do it everyday for the rest of summer. I think I can do it 'cause it's not horrible or anything. Then I played a lot of guitar 'cause I've been super inspired lately. John, we NEED to jam, man. Then I vacuumed the inside of my car and eventually washed the outside myself 'cause I'm not rich enough to go to Pirates Cove. I don't mind anyways, though. So now I'm here about to eat a pizza. I hafta go get an application somewhere and turn in my Country Club one but after that I'm free if anyone wants to do anything.
New York was pretty cool. I'd really like to go next summer with some friends. My dad would let me and if I'm lucky, might pay for my ticket up there, but I really would like to go with 2 or 3 people. That'd be really rad. We could stay at a cheap hotel in New Jersey and take a bus into New York City and party everynight and just walk around and stuff. Let me know if you wanna do that 'cause that would be super bad ass. It was really cool to have something to do everyday up there. In here there really isn't much to do which I kinda never really understood until last week. You can just walk around all day and the weather isn't that bad and you can just hang out and chill. It's really rad.
Yesterday was Lucy's birthday so I hung out with her most of the day. We saw Spider Man 2 with Wayne, who hadn't hung out with forever 'cause he's too cool for me. I can't really decide whether or not I liked it. It definitely seemed a little more centered to his character than the last one but it was pretty bad ass. The third one will hopefully kick a lot of ass, which I'm sure they have to make. Anyways, yeah, it was a nice day. I hope Lucy had a nice birthday. The 4th was pretty cool. I went to the Baldwin's little get-together which was pretty nice. Then we headed over to the rope-swing and watched David go off naked which was the best thing ever. It was pretty fun. Then we went to the fireworks at Town Center but I didn't really watch much 'cause it was really hot and I don't really care much for fireworks. Some American I am, pssh. But Lucy, Wayne, and I had dinner at Taco Cabana which was bitchin.
I've been listening to a lot of Bright Eyes and Azure Ray lately. Displaced is such a great song, I vote Deanna and I play that song everyday 'cause Deanna sings it ever so beautifully (I'm so poetic). Anyways, yeah, great stuff.
Okay, I'm done. Lame post.
