drive-thru 05
so.. yesterday was the drive-thru invasion tour ... wasn't as stoked as i was for last years but hey!
got there at about 8ish maybe earlier and bought two tees (I Am The Avalanche and Halifax) and then migrated over to the bar ... davies and i spent the whole night there pretty much!
I Am The Avalanche came on and set the tone for the night, i was never really a fan of The Movielife, but this band rocked hard! Probably one of the best of the whole night I feel!
Halifax came on and it was the lead singers 21st birthday, so he got himself absolutely hammered, they didn't seem too good from where i was. the instruments needed turning down and maybe a bit more of Call All Your Reserves action! They were good.
Hidden In Plain View came on stage and didn't play half as good as last year, but they still played well... especially for playing Shaman Witches Magic, which owned! After their set I met Rob (guitarist whom I love) and their lead singer.
Allister came on and by then davies and i were pretty jolly by then, i didn't like Allister last year, but i still sung along and davies and i had a dance off! to which i obviously won.... no matter what anyone else says!
A good night all round I feel! Today I was bored.. gonna see Jessie later and tell her all about my adventures!
