(no subject)
Okay so i should attempt to make a legitimate update..
1- I've been working 12 hours per day, 6 days per week.. AND it doesnt look like its gonna let up anytime soon.. So please excuse my lack of online time. I apologize to all of you for this.
2- Leigh Ann and Chris set a wedding date. I dont know what the date is, but it's sometime in October.. You'd think that i'd know considering that i'm gonna be IN the damn thing.
3- I bought an Ipod Nano.. Its the 4gB one and it's black.. That way, it matches the interior of my car.
4- Yeah i spiffed up my car the other day and i took some pics.. Yinz will be seeing them here in the next day or two.
5- Lisa and I are friends again, although she has a b/f and i'm insanely jealous of him.
6- Sundays are my only day off, and i've spent every one of them (over the last 6 weeks) playing guitar with Jerry and Scott.. It's been fun, although all we do is play covers. Those guys aren't into the whole idea of writing original music.. BUT ya know i do have lots of fun just jammin.. So it's nice to have a hobby again.
7- Did i mention that i'm drunk as i type this?? Yeah its saturday night and I've actually been awake for like 22 hours now.. Me, Jerry, Dinker, Terry, Christy, Melissa, Jami, and Josh all went barhopping tonight.. Therefore, finch=drunk.
8- I currently do NOT have a girlfriend or any sort of girl whom i'm attempting to court.. Which is rare b/c ALTHOUGH most girls find me repulsive and absolutely uninteresting, i always seem to find myself in a situation where im close to actually getting with (or getting serious) with a girl. Like i mentioned earlier, Lisa and I are friends again but im DONE trying with her ya know... Although, if she wanted to hook up, i wouldn't turn her down... blah
9- For a period of a week or so, Claire and I had been texting each other about 20398403 times per day. I dunno why, but everytime Claire goes on vacation and we start communicating through texts, i fall EVEN MORE in love with her... I know that sounds creepy but i cant help it. She makes my knees feel like mush.
10- NFL draft was today. Steelers took Santonio Holmes as their first pick. He's a WR out of Ohio State.. He has all the same attributes that Antwann Randle El had.. Kinda funny how they get rid of Randle El and replace him with a protege... lol go Steelers
11- I've listened to 'Marigold' by Nirvana like 9 times in a row now.
12- A VERY hot chick (named Daylin) was hitting on me HARDCORE at the bar tonight. She was dancing all by herself and finally i went over and danced with her and she was all coool with me after that.. Then later i found out that she was the g/f of the lead singer of the band who was playing.. That kinda hurt but i dont really care.. Dancing with hot chicks is always fun. (although i can't dance) ps- 'Daylin' is the hottest name i've ever heard for a girl ever.
13- I have a wicked cavity. I broke a tooth last week and it hurts like a motherfucker. SO i made an emergency dentist appointment and he told me that it has to be surgically removed. SO i made an appointment with the oral surgeon and OF COURSE he can't get me in til May 15th.. So i gotta deal with this constant throbbing pain for 16 more days goddammit... I HATE that shit. Fucking doctors.
14- hahahah The Beavis and Butthead movie is on tv... *turns away from Ipod in favor of TV*
15- Okay after 3 mins of watching the movie, i'm back to the ipod.
16- I really do miss my LJ friends. Especially a certain pair of Canadian girls whom names i shall not mention.
17- OMG i FINALLY got to see all of the Lord of the Rings movies. I always said that i wasn't gonna watch them until i had access to all 3 of them at the same time.. WHICH IS WHY i refused to see them in the theater and i wouldn't watch them when they were on cable.. So yeah Leigh Ann bought them all on dvd and lent them to me SO i watched one every day after work for 3 days.. HOLY SHIT it was awesome.. The first one was kinda slow but the other two were incredible. I was at work for 2 days thinking 'omg i gotta get home and see what happens'... It was definetely worth the wait.
18- I wrote a new tune. It's been a while since i recorded anything.. So MAYBE i'll do that and not let any of you hear it lol
19- Guy and Nikki are back home for good. They finally got everything set so that they could work at the local railroad yard instead of having to live out in Delaware.. So that makes me happy.
20- I can't think of anything more to add right now, but i wanted to add one more to the list to make it an even '20'..
