I'm not that good at picking out music, but I tried to at least pick one song :)
Nathan Fillion as Anthony Darrell Berry
I love Nathan Fillion as an actor. He's extremely talented and very funny. The reason I thought he would be good as one of Rachel's dads is because of his role on Castle and his interactions with his character's daughter.
As for actually appearing on Glee...I can imagine a few different scenarios.
1. At another sleepover at Rachel's house with the girls, Kurt wanders downstairs for something. Of course, Rachel has talked to her dads about Kurt's situation, so Anthony talks to Kurt about things, in the manner of parents everywhere.
2. Some daddy-daughter bonding, with maybe a duet or three. The only song I could think of for this is No Matter What from the Broadway Beauty and the Beast.
Joanna Gleason as Susan Hummel, Kurt's mom.
I have loved Into the Woods since I was little, and the Baker's Wife was always my favorite character. Joanna Gleason plays a really good mom, and I think she kind of looks like Chris Colfer. Obviously, she would only show up in flashbacks, taking Kurt to dance lessons, buying him those little plastic high heels he probably wore when he played dress up...and maybe a few more depressing flashbacks of when she's sick.
The one story idea I have is this: Kurt ends up going through some of his mom's things before or shortly after Carole moves in. He finds a whole bunch of stuff from when his parents were dating and young. But he also finds journals. In one of the last ones she ever wrote, she left a message for Kurt. This is where I imagine she's there singing "No one is alone" from into the woods, kind of like when Rachel and Shelby sang their duet.
Chris Pine as Daniel Donohue, a new transfer who teaches English Lit.
I just picked Chris Pine because I think he's hot. And he plays the guitar. He has a background in sports and ends up befriending Beiste, then helping her out with football. One day, after all the students have left, he's in the locker room, sitting in the jaccussi the school bought the football team after taking away Sue's budget and singing along to his waterproof shower radio. Will, on his way to ask Beiste something, discovers him. The two become fast friends. I don't really imagine any drama, I just want Schue to have a guy friend his own age so he stops acting like a moron.
