And you may be interested to know that the reason your mother isn't listed in the city records is because no one from Arda ever sent a copy of your parents' marriage certificate, or even a bloody letter telling us he got hitched. It was until Fingolfin was killed that we got a letter from Keerdan saying he had taken custody of one Ereinion, later Gil-galad. I wrote back telling Keerdan it was very nice of him to share his life with us fucker but I really didn't care about some stranger's child he was fostering. "Stranger? Ereinion is Fingon's son." EH? Etc. So yes. You can jointly blame your shit father and grandfather for the lack of records, Ereinion.
