Fabric Project Needed
I need a fabric-based project to work on. Working with metal and vinyl and fiber clay is fun and all (HA HA HA yeeeeaaah...), but I miss sewing stuff and making regular fabric costumes. So I need something else to work on when I take a much-needed break from Gil-galad's never ending spray glue.
What I have in mind is one of these, because Elrond is my BFF:

Internets, I need help choosing which one! Right now I have more (and more complete)pictures of the purple, but better quality pictures of the gold. I'm leaning a little more towards the purple because there are shots of what it looks like full-length, where there are no clear pictures of what the bottom of the gold looks like. And I may stop by some fabric stores tomorrow to see what's available, since if I can find decent fabric for one and nothing for the other, that will obviously influence my decision. But for the moment I'm open to suggestion.
Looking at these pictures, I'm also starting to think that by DCon my hair will be almost exactly the right length for Elrond. But not the right color. :( It's faded a lot since ALEP and is now a light golden brown. This means means I'll probably not end up cutting it, but I'll need to dye it. Crud.
