I've had it with these jokers

Today I checked my Visa statement and saw that Bell Mobility charged me $70 for my November bill. This immediately sends me in to full-on WTF mode, becuase my usual bill is $50. Therefore... WTF?!!! It seems like they are now charging me for some calls that should be included in my plan. Kind of like the time they charged me $50 for accidentally pressing the internet connector button a few times.

Seriously, I've had it with these dickwads. I have regular cell phone with voice mail and call display. There is no way in hell this should cost me $70 a month. I don't have a smartphone. I don't use data. How is it possible that Bell can charge so much when the exact same plan on Koodo would cost $30? And the Koodo plan even includes unlimited Canada-wide long distance?

After screwing around on the phone with a Bell rep for 15 minutes and growing more and more annoyed with their terrible service options, I asked flat out how much it would cost to buy out my contract and cancel it today. The answer: $100. For $100, I can say goodbye to these turds and switch to something more cost-effective.

So now the question is... WHO SHOULD I CHOOSE, INTERNETS? Canadian friends: do you have any advice? Does anybody use Koodo or Mobilicity? Those are the two that sound most promising to me. Koodo a little more so because I know they work in the US and the roaming fees are marginally less outrageous than Bell's. I hate Koodo's ads with that retarded El Tabador character, but then I seriously hated the Bell beavers and still went with Bell. Mobilicity has better plans, but they as a company seem a little dodgy and their coverage only exists in a few major cities. Mobilicity is a new company, while Koodo has been around for a few years and is technically just another name for Telus.

canadia, bell mobility is an evil dictator, validate my choices internets!
