I just got my tax refund.
When I got home from work my brother told me it had arrived... a big fat envelope. I worried when I first saw it, thinking they'd only send that much paper if there was a problem. Then I opened it.
EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. Holy shit! I was expecting, like, two something? But all the extra papers in my envelope were explaining how I had unused tuition amounts from way back when that I totally forgot, plus a new university grad credit I didn't know about that applies to anyone who graduated in the last five or six years, and some other credits, and my calculation was wrong in one place... So 1800 bucks!
