I listened to Jarrod's original performance only once and apparently the rendition, the general mood and the tempo are somewhat different. My cover doesn't really have the serene/playful air of a Christmas carol and feels slightly out of context but... somehow... that's where the music led me, that's how I felt it.
PS It feels nice to actually see that I'm making some progress (all thanks to daily practice). It feels really good.
