"from the bottom of my heart, a ballad is sung, through the whisper she comes, into the rays of the sun"
-the wallflowers

things are good. a little too good. nah, it can't be too good...can it?

ummm, no.

i'm content with things, it seems that following your brain instead of your heart may be the best advice i've ever received. and that may also be because i didn't receive it--i thought it. but i received it from something, so for that, i'm grateful.

the past few days (since grad night) have been pure bliss. i've been slightly bored at times, but the grad night bonfire, the journey to pullman square with amy, boyd, and zip, and the driveway conversation with lenerd have proven that this summer will rule about as much ass as one can handle. and i like-a the ass. in a non perverted way, of course...is there a non-perverted way to say that?

shutting up...

lfie is good, and i'm glad to be finally saying that again. head over here for a picture journey of the past few days--well mostly to pullman--but there's a few others

tommorow looks blank, but sunday heading to lexington for cousins birthday, and just so happens amy has a game at 11:30 in the morn sunday in lexington, also...so i'm definetley going to go watch her play before his party. then i'll be riding with her to the cabin in morehead for a crew vacation--one of many this summer

now, my short and sweet reviews

The Wallflowers, Rebel, Sweetheart
It seems the wallflowers have come into their own i think. every track is it's own. jakob seemed to have a burst of songwriting inspiration in the three years since red letter days because each and every lyric in this effort is from the heart. for once, a band that dosen't try to meet someone else's expectations

Audioslave, Out of Exile
Only listened to the album twice fully through, but it seems it's already better than Audioslave though the guitar-ecstacy of tracks such as Gasoline & Cochise seem to be missing, the exquisite soloing skills of tom morello have more than made up for this. I beleive tom morello is the one and true master of the digitech whammy. no other can tame the beast that is. trust me--i'm still trying to tame mine. i like where audioslave is going.

Ben Folds, Songs For Silverman
In true ben folds fashion, this album is just flat out amazing. landed is by far the most beautiful ben folds song ever. trust rings so true for me now.

so, in case i don't see ya', good afternoon, good evening, and good night
