This introduction will be used as a "first impression" to most people who read it. So I would like to start with my name, Tigran Basmadjyan. I have just started my second year of college at Glendale Community College and have been enjoying the freedom alongside the responsibility that is inherited when someone starts college. I enjoy having total control of my life when it comes to my decision making. I like to think of myself as a hardworking Armenian American with an innate sense of ownership over whatever I come across. I would probably label myself as having a driving character. My aggressive nature has been my catalyst for success in the financial field due to the fact that I am the youngest New York Life Agent in the U.S. I have been extremely succesful in my business life because of the fact that I have always been a "go getter." I always seem to redefine myself periodically in order to polish my character to endure bigger and better things down the line. Working outside my comfort zone has been the story of my life when it came down to wanting to succeed. I have always felt that when I get too comfortable with everything going on in my life, I must get uncomfortable in order to grow as a person. These traits have led me to my advisor position with "New York Life." However, even with all of my success I always feel as though without atleast a Masters Degree I can never service my clients to the best of my ability. Life is all about gaining as much information as possible and not forgetting to apply what we learn in order to become more efficient and productive to ourselves and those we strive to help. As a student in this Psychology class I will try my best to be a useful tool for insight and contribution.
