MOVED IN!!
Woo!! We are finally moved in....kinda sorta. We have about 6 more boxes left to unpack. 3 of those boxes are of books but that will have to wait until we go back to get our other bookcase and 1 of those boxes is all bathroom stuff and we don't have enough room in there for it yet so I'm hoping to go back to my parent's and getting something for it. I know they have a storage unit for over the toilet so perhaps we can have that.
Since being here we've only had a couple of problems. When we first got here we saw that our tub had not been finished in that the caulking around the edge of the tub and the drain had been installed. They were here within 2 hours but we had to wait 24 hours to take a shower. By 6pm the next night when we finally decided to put up the shower curtain, we were dismayed to see that the shower curtain was about 4 in. too short because the shower rod was way too high. So we had to go out and buy an extendable rod. Fun times. Fortunately that all got straightened out but now we have to deal with the fact that one of the pull-out drawers in the kitchen doesn't pull-out and the letters on our climate control box are completely rubbed off. Maintanance was supposed to come out today to fix it but when we got back from grocery shopping nothing had been done. Now we get to call them tomorrow to find out what's up. Rar.
On the plus side, I'm starting at the Barnes and Noble tomorrow morning. I'm actually working 7am-3:30 Tuesday - Saturday. I haven't worked that shift in a very long time but at least here, I'm only 15 min from work as opposed to the 40 min I was driving to Salisbury. Living here definitely has its perks.
