The hot new thing in America right now is to have a Twitter, I don't know exactly why that is... but it seems to be really popular for people to waste time updating their everyday activities as if we care about what little things you are doing right now. Like... "I just took a big dump in the woods." or "OMG my BFF Jill stuck her douche up the wrong hole. LOL!" These are things I care not for, nor will my Twitter have any meaningful messages like the examples I gave previously. I plan not to post what my mood is, that's what my myspace mood tag is for... I hope to not post quick 140 character reviews on games... that's not what I have in mind for my Twitter. And I certainly don't plan on going to Iran and using to post messages about the current chaos ensuing in that region of the world. Also, I don't care if me creating a Twitter seems hypocritical to you.
I created a Twitter after realizing it's the perfect program for something I do care about, which is posting my thoughts remotely, this is something for myself, not for you or anyone in particular. I just would like a place I can electronically post thoughts that are not the larger complex rants I like to write once and a while. I everyday have simple small thoughts that pop into my mind throughout the day that I usually end up forgetting about by the time I am home, or simply don't care to elaborate entire rants about. I don't mind sharing these thoughts with my current livejournal readers, maybe you can find a good chuckle in there once and a while. I have connected the livejournal account to this, so it should hopefully update at midnight everyday if I post something... if I got it configured properly that is.
The reason why I am doing this is about a month after my hero George Carlin died, I heard an interview with his only daughter on the radio, she described how he would carry a post it note pad on him and jog his thoughts down on whenever something would come up. Some of these thoughts would end up being pretty hilarious bits, or grow into rants once pieced together with many other observations. I usually text my friends my quick little thoughts when I can, or call them about it. But I never have actually considered writing them down anywhere till now. Life is like a puzzle, there are so many things going on around us that when you put them together as a whole, you end up seeing alot of truth in things. So hopefully maybe I can help piece together my little observations of the world whenever I can, and as I wrote in my person memoriam about why George Carlin was my hero... learn to write and see the world the way he did.
If you want to add me to my twitter, go ahead, it's your dime, not mine.
