1. You can still be a coach potato, but since you're hands are constantly busy with the needles, you can't eat at the same time.

2. Instead of eating snacks when you're bored, you're constantly exercising your arms, so burning calories while relaxing.

3. When miscalculating stitches you might create clothes that are too small, so you'll be more encouraged to try and fit into them. (Of course they might be too big as well, in which case the advice would be to give them away ASAP!)
