The week started with being awarded to the Copper Emblem of Service II
and finished with the Iron Emblem of Service III.
My Dark Knight raced from level 71 to 73 and learned finally the "Dread Spikes" spell.
New Merits on Black Mage unlocked the Ancient Magic spells "Flood II" and "Quake II".
Members in the Linkshell needed help on Rank Mission 9-1, killing a splitting slime in Gustav Tunnel. Well, our first attempt was a mess. The splash AoE killed us two Black Mages rather fast and the main tank
hitting the wrong mob and thus waking two up didn't help it.
On attempt number two we Spawned, slept, gravity and sneak pulled it to a save area.
There was enough room for Mages to stand far away on a ledge while melees took it to the opposite side.
The fight went smooth and easy this time. No matter which BLM got attacked because of Sleepga hate the 2nd one would cast Sleepga then. Rince and repeat. Victory!
In Japan the annual VanaFest (Vana'Diel Festival) took place.
The announcement updates were like dropping a nuke on the FFXI community.
Cities and Linkshell chat was full of it. Lot of blood flow yesterday.
