I'm pretty sure it's from the dalceridae family, which would mean that it is a moth larva. The moths themselves are really cool, too, if it is:

Mmnn, it doesn't look quite as awesome once it's grown up, disappointingly enough. Though I suppose most things in life are like that.

The kid issued warning letters home because he wasn't "working properly with his peers."
The kid labeling homework as 'busywork,' passing tests but failing classes.
