Who: Naminé and Axel. What: Axel picking Naminé up. Where: Close to the Entertainment District. When: After the Joker lets her go. Rating: PG for Axel's mouth?
Axel had portaled to where the directions had indicated where her location was. He was pissed. Mainly because he couldn't help her. But that was going to change now. He stepped out of the black portal and looked around. "Nam...?" He called out. He walked around trying to find where she was now.
"A-Axel!" Naminé walked over to him, a forced smile on her face. "I... I'm glad you came," she said quietly, looking up at him. She still felt awful for worrying him like that... Naminé didn't like the fact that all she'd done was do that... worry someone.
Axel turned and saw the pale blonde girl. She looked like she had been crying for hours. He frowned a bit and pulled the girl into a hug. He held her tightly. He had been so worried about the young girl, he didn't want to see her upset and he didn't want to see her taken away like that by some clown-looking freak.
When Axel pulled her into a hug, Naminé stayed still for a few moments. Then, she hugged him back, her shoulders shaking as she felt herself start to cry. Naminé almost didn't care at that point. She was just glad that Axel was alright, that he wasn't hurt.
"D-don't... be sorry... I-I'm the one that should be..."
Axel held her tighter as he felt her shoulders start to shake. He smoothed out her pale hair and tried to comfort her the best way he could.
"Nam... No, don't say that, alright?" He said softly and comfortingly. He only did this with two people. Her and Roxas. They were the only ones who could see his 'emotions' or whatever they were. They were the only ones who could see him like this.
"It's not your fault he took ya away... I should've helped.. and I didn't..." He whispered, feeling himself start to tremble. "A friend doesn't do that, Nam..."
Whoever had said that Nobodies didn't have emotions... they were completely wrong. Right now, both Naminé and Axel were proof that Nobodies could feel, and that they weren't just "empty shells." Naminé's hands curled around his coat.
"N-no, I... I should have s-stayed with y-you and Roxas... I-I've only... o-only ever h-hurt anyone..." The words were out of her mouth before she realized it. Now... that'd only make Axel feel worse.
Axel looked down at her and frowned more. He took her firmly and knelt down so he could look directly into her blue eyes with his piercing green eyes.
"Never say that again..." It sounded more like a demand, but there was a lot of pain behind it. "Never. Got it memorized? That's not true. You've never hurt anyone."
Naminé looked back at him. She opened her mouth ("What about Sora?"), but closed it. Slowly, hesitantly, Naminé nodded. She didn't want to say anything else; mostly, she just wanted to go home.
"... O-okay..." Even Naminé could tell she sounded tired. "I-I'm sorry..." she murmured again, purely out of habit.
