Band Camp: Day 5
Yet another day of Band Camp. I once again woke up at 7 although, I really didn't want to. I twas too damn early after Kennywood and all. It was funny. When Andy came he looked upset and someone asked him why. His response was "Because I was just here less than 7 hours ago!!"
We did basics and the disco and everything. Mr. V had to yell at us a few times throughout the day. We really just didn't have the concentration to do it, but he was doing his best to keep us in line. Plus, there was the whole thing that happened on Bus 2. I've heard a couple different stories, so I won't post anything about it yet.
Mr. V came up for a new visual for me to do at the beginning of "...Loose." I'm turned away from the crowd too. I turn around whenever. I act all panicky because I can't find my mouth piece. When I finally pull it out of my uniform, I hold it up in the air, grin stupidly, breath on it, polish it on my jacket, and then put it in the instrument and start playing. It's going to be soooo funny to watch *L*.
Ther ewasn't a whole lot of anything that happened at Band Camp today. As far as the olympics go, we gained a point on saxes during the bonus event, but lost it again in the actual event so we're still 5 points down. It sucks *L*. At least, we don't have to worry about anyone coming up from third. Saxes and us are considerably head as far as points compared to the rest of the band.
We worked ont he drill for "Minnie The Moocher." It's pretty hard so far. I mean, I was seriously wondering when the drill was going to start getting dificult and I finally found out when *L*. It sucks though. I just know that in one of the shows I'm just going to take Erin's head clean off witht he Sousaphone. It gets bad.
Well, I can't really think of much more that happened at Band Camp today. I'm sure later on I'll realize that I was a dumbass and left a bunch of stuff out, but I'll just have to edit it again then.
