Rating: PG (maybe a few cuss words though) Expected Character Involvement: Organization members! ...and MAYBE Maleficent? (if she comes in to ruin their plan! :o ) Status: CLOSED
"Hello." Marluxia greeted, amused at their bickering. "I see we've wasted no time in falling back into our old routines." He carried his scythe slung over one shoulder, in case any of Maleficent's Heartless spies showed their ugly faces. "I've been unable to locate anyone else, but hopefully, they will come."
He looked around Axel's room. It was fairly bare except for the essentials. It was clear tha Axel had made no effort to leave his personal mark on his assigned room. Marluxia, didn't, though he did keep a small plant growing on a table by his bed.
"We may as well start." Marluxia shrugged. "It doesn't seem likely that anyone else will be coming."
Axel cocked a thin brow, gazing at Marluxia's scythe. Shaking his head, he sat back down at the table, a vein lightly pulsing in his temple, hearing Demyx hum to himself. He cleared his throat loudly and the humming ceased, only to recieve a glare and a frown from Demyx.
"First thing's first..." Axel started, "We have to find a way around Maleficent. If she catches us..." he paused to rubb his chest, as if feeling the pain she had inflected on him once before, and also felt his head throb. "There's no telling what she may do to us."
((OOC: Something has been bothering me. Is Marlu a righty or a lefty? Maybe he's ambidexterous...))
Marluxia nodded absently, his mind wandering a little, but he shook his head and forced himself to focus. Think about distractions later. He told himself. He was getting as bad as Demyx. Perhaps Demyx was right...?
No, Demyx couldn't be right. He was Demyx for crying out loud.
"The problem is, she's got Heartless spies around the castle. And we don't know which of the others are going to stick with her." Marluxia said. "This place is shrouded in darkness. I don't like it. No doubt it makes her stronger as well."
Demyx sighed and rolled his eyes. "Then maybe we should have some sort of secret code or hand shake or somethin' or even pass notes to one another. Then none of the heartless or Maleficent will know what we're talkin' about."
Axel rolled his eyes. "You and your childish tatics..."
Demyx frowned and glared at Axel again. "Well do you have any brighter ideas? There's really nothing else we can do since this place has walls with ears that are connected right to the witch!"
Marluxia was not fond of secret handshakes or codes, either. However, he could not come up with anything better. He decided to say nothing and let Axel and Demyx fight over it on their own.
If this was the kind of cooperation the three of them were going to have, they wouldn't stand a heart's chance in a horde of Invisibles.
He just wanted out. He didn't like it here. His plants could barely survive. He didn't like Maleficent any more than the others did. At this point, he didn't know where to go, maybe that Balamb place, but now wasn't the time to plan for a future that may not even happen.
Axel hung his head and glanced to the eleventh member of their group. "Well, Marluxia... What's your say on this?" he asked as he lifted his head and cocked a thin brow. "I'm sure you could give us some intake on this. You came here for a reason anyways."
((OOC: Man, we like, need more Org. members. BADLY.))
Marluxia looked over at the Flurry of Dancing Flames, and was silent for a moment, apparently thinking the situation over.
"...We could always meet outside the castle. I've been to Balamb, and I believe you've been to Midgar, Axel. While Maleficent seems to monitor us here, she lets us roam around the worlds as we please." The assassin twirled a lock of pink hair absently. "Of course, we risk getting spotted by the likes of the Key Bearer and his allies."
Marluxia walked around Axel's domain a little. "I heard you forged a sort of last minute trust with Roxas' other, Axel, am I correct? Sora, being an honorable child, would not fight you. Sora shouldn't remember me at all, but Demyx on the other hand..." He chucked a little, poking at Demyx with the blunt end of his scythe. Despite the bit of fun he got from poking at the younger, this was a serious problem.
"...regardless, it's better than staying here and waiting for something to happen."
Demyx frowned. "Look that kid was strong alright?!" he snapped. "He and his little friends and all..." The water weilding member crossed his arms and sat up straight in his chair at the table.
Axel chuckled and turned his attention back to Marluxia. "What about the others? What will they think about this?" He looked around cautiously, sensing as if they were already being watched.
Demyx blinked and raised his eyebrows high on his forehead, staring at the red head. "Like what can she really do to us? We have our powers - why not use them?"
"Demyx, you have no idea of what she's cappable of." Axel said, his voice firm, and lightly laced with... was it fear?
The younger member stared at him and nodded. "I see..." he mumbled as he rubbed his chin. "So, Marlu, you're saying we should meet up with Sora again?"
Marluxia smiled. "I lost to him, too, Demyx. And Maleficent did, too." He added in slight amusement.
Marluxia set his scythe down casually, though he still gripped at the handle. Well, the Keyblader was bound to find them sooner or later, whether they were here or anywhere else.
"We need allies, and if just so happens that we form a partnership with Sora, then that's fine, maybe even ideal. We don't even know about the others, where they are or what they think about the situation. We've never been the most tight knit organization. We had a common goal, but besides that we really never related to each other and mostly kept to ourselves or with one or two people we got along with. Except for you, Demyx. You're the friendly one, you talked to all of us and kept us company, whether we wanted it or not."
Demyx grinned. "See?" Axel on the other hand rolled his eyes at the young member and sighed. "He does have a point..." he admitted. "But I think Sora is a bit on our side. I mean, he's against Maleficent, no matter what... but then again, what we've done to him in the past..."
"You and kidnapping the girl?" Demyx snickered.
"That was only to lure him out okay?" Axel snapped back, shaking his head. "To make sure he didn't go along with Saix and Xemnas' plans..."
"Well, maybe one of us could get on her good side, ya know? If she were to take over Kingdom Hearts, and one of us were on her good side, maybe we'd have a slot in for hearts!" the youngest in the room said.
Axel rolled his eyes again. "No way am I gonna suck up to her... She creeps me out, and she's inflected pain on me once."
"And got a bit too close for comfort?"
"You've been reading my journal... haven't you Demyx...?"
"As he has been snooping around mine." Marluxia sighed dramatically.
He looked around the walls, just to make entirely sure they weren't being watched. Something did feel a bit odd. The Graceful Assassin let it go, but he did not entirely dismiss it.
If Xemnas was around, he was very likely to be working alongside Maleficent - there was no way he would submit his authority and Maleficent surely would have promised equality to him. And Saïx was extremely loyal to Xemnas and was his right hand man. Wherever the Superior went, Saïx went. So they probably should not count on help from the Luna Diviner.
So that left seven other members, not counting Roxas, who had freedom of his own. But how many of them would join them? How many would fight them?
Demyx perked up, looking to see Xaldin. "Xal! Long time no see!" he said happily, waving a hand in greeting.
Axel only snorted and rolled his eyes. "Here we go again with the formalities..." he muttered. He locked his gaze on Xaldin. "We need to get around her, of course... Take control. We can't let one witch control us all."
Demyx nodded. "Well why not take my idea from before?!" he asked, feeling slightly frustrated. "One of us suck up to her and get on her good side, and then BAM! We're granted with hearts!"
"Again, you do it, Demyx." Marluxia replied. "You are the most likely candidate. I currently do not have the capacity to do this "sucking up" idea of yours. Maleficent has caused me much suffering, and I am unable, at the moment, at least, able to carry out such a plan." A part of him twitched upon thinking about the trauma of the past day.
Marluxia's eyes darted around, looking for the cunning raven that acted as Maleficent's eyes and ears over them. Was it here, watching them now?
"So, this is where you all dissapeared to. I was wondering if you all had ceased to be." States Saix walking to the others, ignoring the shift looks that Marluxia was giving. Looking at Demyx,
"Have you seen Xemnas yet? or how about the rest of you?" demanded Saix, his gaze leveling over the others after holding Demyx gaze. "No? thats a shame..." mused Saix, his gaze once again takin in the resurrected members.
"Perhaps you all have come up with a plan? One to bring back our Kingdom Hearts? A plan to make us whole once again and no longer under the yoke of the fool witch?" questioned Saix, never waiting long enough for a response.
"Ceased to be, Saix? For that, we'd have to be have been somebody."
Xaldin smiled, but still regarded Saix warily. Xaldin trusted Saix about as far as he could throw him. Given his mastery of the winds, however, Xaldin figured that he could throw him a fair distance.
"So you haven't heard from Xemnas, then?" he continued. "That's not like him. I would have thought he'd have contacted us by now."
Xaldin looked to the others. Saix's attitude was unexpected. He closed his eyes, leaning against a wall. All this standing around doing nothing was getting to him.

Xaldin's blue eyes narrowed.
"Alive and well," he repeated. "Every one of us, it would seem. And all thanks to the Heartless witch, so we can serve as her loyal puppets."
The man cocked his head to one side and raised an eloquent eyebrow.
"The question is: how do we intend to...handle it?"
